Terrestrial Fauna Surveys
Our reports identify the potential impacts of a development proposal on native fauna and provide solutions which facilitate the project and mitigate biodiversity losses.
Reports include:

Database searches and literature review to determine if threatened fauna does or could potentially occur on the site.

A survey using indirect and direct detection methods specific to the target faunal group (bird, mammals, reptiles and amphibians).

Identification of fauna on the site which are listed under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, State Government legislation and Council policies.

Maps showing the locations of habitat structures; such as hollow bearing trees, dens and nests.

Recommendations for protection of listed species.

Habitat enhancement recommendations.
