Safe Tree Access - Science
Ironbark Environmental Arboriculture has the experience and expertise to train you to climb safely and efficiently; the rest is up to you.
Tree canopies support a high diversity of organisms, for this reason biological scientists are drawn to explore them. In Australia, the abundance of hollow dependant fauna provides another powerful reason to become proficient at canopy access.
Safe Tree Access – Science is designed to teach safe and efficient tree climbing techniques to scientists who need to access the forest canopy.
There is flexibility in the course structure which makes Safe Tree Access – Science suitable for complete beginners and those with existing skills and experience.
Training can be adapted to suite the particular access requirements of individual research projects.
This course is not intended for those seeking to become arborists or rope access technicians.
